Sunrise at Baywalk - 6:30am on June 11, 2009

The video captures the early morning scenery and activities around Baywalk in Puerto Princesa City. Part way through the video there is a group of soldiers passing on their morning singing jog. It is quite amusing and typical of the Filipino character to make anything into comedy. The last part of the video shows the pier where the fishermen usually unload their fish catch. The background music coming from one of the boats adds a surreal ambience to the sunrise at Baywalk.

At the other end of Baywalk, the seawall construction has cut a path through the shanties but many of the inhabitants are staying on until the very end. This video captures the collision of the past and the future around Baywalk.
